Before The Shard was officially opened to the public, I was lucky enough to be one of the first people to see the view, and what a wonderful view it is from the 72nd floor. I was a little disappointed by the fact that there was no place to poke my camera lens out, but you can’t really argue with the view.

Something that fascinated me was the trains coming and going from London Bridge station. As you can see, it looked like a model train set, not real life.

I recommend the views from the Shard, you don’t get many places in London where you can see the skyline from such a height, and at the right time of day (sunrise and sunset of course) it looks amazing.
