About Me

My name in Myles Noton, I'm 20 years old and currently studying a BSC(Hons) degree in Computer Science with Digital Imaging at Kingston University, London. I am a hardworking and motivated person that strives for a greater understanding of most IT ideologies. I have a very wide understanding of technology and am continually pushing to learn new and more diverse technologies.

Experience

I have developed many websites over that last few years and gained experience in Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash and Visual Studio along the way. I have been learning PHP, Java, ASP.NET, Ajax, and JavaScript over the past year, and have gained knowledge of designing and implementing MySQL databases.

At Kingston University I have learnt Java and the concepts of Object Orientated Programming, Systems Analysis and design where I learnt commonly used systems modelling techniques such as UML.

This enthusiasm is also used in other areas outside of the technology world, my intrigue and want for more information about the things that interest me means that I am able to gain a vast knowledge in the specific area. As well as being interested in Technology I also have a keen interest in Photography, some of my pictures can be found showcased in the Photography section of this site.

Employment

I am Platform Manager at Kodime, a company based in Kingston that provides mobile marketing solutions.

Areas of Interest

Security - I have an interest in both network and general system security, I see this area as a very important thing in the industry and think that it is an area that should be thought about more. It is for this reason that I chose my current Degree.

Videography - Whilst at Westlands and now at Kingston University I have been involved in various filming events that have either been part of a school production or competitions. I took part in the Pentathlon Challenge organized by Torbay Council, my team won first prize against 5 other schools in Torbay.
