Chinese New Year 2010

On Sunday came the Chinese New Year celebrations in London to mark the Year of the Tiger, as expected the weather wasn’t the best, most of the time very overcast and wet.

My understanding of previous years was there was a parade with all sorts of dragons and other parade based things, however for some reason this year this wasn’t the case – despite many sites mentioning that there would be. It was disappointing that one didn’t happen this year, unless your into looking around market stalls or standing in front of a stage watching dancers there wasn’t really much else to do.

You managed to get some nice photos, seeing as how the weather wasn’t -that- great and as you said not much was going.

The day had so much promise, shame it didn’t deliver…
